Colleen Thorpe

Colleen Thorpe brings together decades of formal training in natural healing, professional hypnosis training, and deep spiritual practice to support people seeking clarity, healing, and meaningful transformation. Her work is grounded in integrity, discipline, and a profound respect for both the science of the mind and the wisdom of the spirit.

Colleen’s approach reflects a lifelong commitment to understanding why life unfolds as it does—and how insight, awareness, and compassion can restore balance and purpose.

A Foundation Rooted in Meaning and Purpose

From an early age, Colleen felt drawn to the deeper questions of life. In her late teens, she immersed herself in the writings of Edgar Cayce and the Seth books, finding resonance in their teachings on consciousness, karma, and the role our thoughts play in shaping reality. These concepts offered a framework for understanding how experiences—both joyful and challenging—contribute to growth across lifetimes.

Over time, this perspective expanded as she observed life’s complexities: children born with physical or mental challenges, individuals facing chronic illness, and recurring life patterns that seemed to defy simple explanation. Colleen came to believe that while genetics, environment, diet, and lifestyle are important, some experiences arise from deeper soul-level intentions—chosen to foster compassion, understanding, healing, or service to others.

Understanding the “why” behind life’s circumstances, she believes, can bring peace, self-acceptance, and the ability to honor and learn the lessons each experience offers.

Integrating Science, Medicine, and Spiritual Insight

Although spiritually inclined from childhood—growing up on a family farm in Western New York with a strong connection to nature—Colleen’s early professional life was practical and structured. She built a successful career in office management and bookkeeping, yet felt a persistent call toward healing and medicine.

At age 42, she made the decisive choice to pursue formal Naturopathic education. Embracing the rigor of chemistry, physics, anatomy, and physiology, she discovered a deep appreciation for science-based learning. Colleen found her true alignment in Naturopathic Medicine, whose principles resonated with her holistic worldview.

She relocated across the country to begin this new chapter, earning her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University in Bothell, WA. Her training encompassed biochemistry, pharmacology, gastroenterology, gynecology, and a wide range of natural therapies, including herbal medicine, homeopathy, nutrition, hydrotherapy, physical medicine, and therapeutic massage.

This period marked the development of a powerful integrative “toolkit,” blending evidence-based natural medicine with intuitive and energetic awareness.

Expanding the Healing Framework

Following graduation, Colleen completed a two-year Naturopathic Family Practice Residency in Billings, Montana, and later opened her own naturopathic clinic in Miles City, Montana. Recognizing the complementary strengths of Eastern medicine, she pursued a Master’s Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine in Denver at the Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, adding acupuncture as a core modality.

Her professional journey continued in integrative medical settings, including work with multidisciplinary healthcare teams alongside medical doctors, chiropractors, physical therapists, counselors, and massage therapists. Throughout this time, Colleen deepened her studies in functional medicine and vitalist naturopathic philosophy, further refining her patient-centered approach.

Eventually, she returned to Western New York to continue practicing naturopathic care and acupuncture, later transitioning to home-based care during the COVID period to better support clients by offering acupuncture in their homes.

The Bridge Between Body, Mind, and Soul

While natural therapies and acupuncture effectively addressed physical symptoms, Colleen found that they did not always answer the deeper question of why illness or imbalance arose. She observed that emotional, subconscious, and spiritual influences often play a significant role in health and well-being.

This insight led her to formal training in hypnosis, recognizing its ability to access the subconscious and superconscious mind. Through hypnosis, clients can explore spiritual, karmic, and soul-level contributors to physical or emotional challenges—moving beyond symptom management toward deeper understanding and resolution.

Professional Hypnosis & Therapeutic Expertise

Colleen has been practicing hypnosis since 2015 and maintains extensive professional certifications and advanced training. Her work is ethical, structured, and client-centered, designed to foster safety, clarity, and lasting insight.

Her training includes certifications from the Hypnosis Motivation Institute, the Hypnotherapy Specialist Institute, and advanced practitioner-level coursework in past-life regression, age regression, future life progression, anxiety, fears, phobias, sleep and NLP. This depth of preparation allows her to tailor each session to the individual’s unique needs.

Spiritual & Mediumship Experience

For more than 35 years, Colleen has worked as a Spiritual medium, serving as a compassionate and grounded bridge between the physical world and Spirit. Her mediumship is rooted in demonstrating the continuity of life beyond physical death and providing meaningful, evidence-based spiritual communication.

Through long-standing relationships with Spirit Guides, Teachers, and loved ones in Spirit, Colleen offers sessions that are often described as reassuring, affirming, and deeply grounding. Clients frequently gain insight into life transitions, soul lessons, and spiritual support that encourages conscious, purposeful living.

An Integrative, Respectful Partnership

In addition to her work in hypnosis and mediumship, Colleen is a (retired) Naturopathic Doctor, Acupuncturist, Herbalist, and Energy Intuitive. This integrative foundation informs her holistic perspective and reinforces her commitment to addressing the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.

Colleen’s work is best described as a professional partnership: respectful, compassionate, and deeply personalized. She provides a steady presence and a safe, supportive environment for people who feel called to explore their inner wisdom, heal at a soul level, and move forward with clarity and confidence.
